Terms and conditions

1) General service conditions

a) The customer agrees to use the services provided by 1000sites.pt at their own risk.

b) The customer agrees to make payments at the agreed intervals and within the specified deadlines.

c) 1000sites.pt cannot be held liable for partial or total loss of data or other commercial damage, including, but not limited to, special, incidental, consequential or other damages, under any circumstances.

d) 1000sites.pt reserves the right to intervene on websites hosted by its customers, contacting them in their own interest when necessary.

2) Payment methods

We accept payments by bank transfer, PayPal or Multibanco reference.

3) Payment conditions

Customers must pay for service renewals by the deadlines. If payment is not detected before the deadline, services will be deactivated for a period of 7 days and deleted after 15 days.

4) Backups

a) 1000sites.pt is not responsible for backing up its customers' content.

b) The customer acknowledges that they must create their own backups of all data and databases using the utilities provided in the control panels, such as Backup.

c) Restoring a backup may incur a charge to cover part of the backup system's costs.

5) Domain service conditions

a) All domains have a minimum registration period of one year. If the service is cancelled, even within the first 15 days, the domain registration fee is not refunded. However, customers may change the nameservers to another hosting account or transfer the domain to another registrar.

b) The customer is notified in advance at the email address provided to arrange payment for domain renewal.

c) If the customer ignores or refuses domain renewal, 1000sites.pt cannot be held responsible for the possible loss of the domain after it expires.

6) Acceptance of the usage policy

a) Transmitting, storing or displaying information, data or material that violates national or international law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted, threatening or obscene material, or material protected by trade secrets or another legal status.

b) Content in breach of these conditions will be suspended from our server as soon as it is discovered.

c) Pornography is prohibited on 1000sites.pt servers. This includes websites containing images of sex advertisements, advertisements themselves, or links to websites with explicit adult content.

d) If you believe your website may violate any of our terms of service, ask us before subscribing so that we can determine whether it complies with all rules.

e) The customer acknowledges that the service may be interrupted for various reasons and that damage resulting from an interruption is difficult to establish. Consequently, the customer agrees that 1000sites.pt cannot be held liable for damage arising from such causes.

f) Content related to hacking, cracking, warez, IRC or spam is not permitted.

g) Software, audio and video may only be hosted if the subscriber owns the material or has the right to distribute it.

h) Accounts suspended for violating our conditions are not refunded under any circumstances.

i) Any attempt that may damage the servers will result in automatic account suspension without a refund.

7) Spam and email

a) We regard any bulk or unsolicited message as spam.

b) Our servers may not be the source, intermediary or destination for addresses involved in transmitting spam, flames or mail bombs.

c) Your domain may not be referenced in any of the circumstances described in the preceding clause.

d) If spam is detected, your domain will be deleted immediately without prior notice. You may also have to pay a fine of €500 for each violation of the spam policy, payable to the legal authorities that require it, if applicable.

e) We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services for known spammers.

f) We reserve the right to determine who violates this policy. Any violation will result in immediate service deactivation without a refund.

8) Limitation of liability

a) 1000sites.pt cannot be held liable for partial or total loss of data or other commercial damage, including, but not limited to, special, incidental, consequential or other damages, under any circumstances.

b) 1000sites.pt cannot be held responsible for estimated profits a customer would have earned if their service had been operational.

c) Some services provided by 1000sites.pt are resold. Certain equipment, routing, software and programming used by 1000sites.pt are therefore neither owned nor developed directly by 1000sites.pt. Faults may occur and will be corrected in due course.

d) 1000sites.pt accepts no responsibility for the use of its customers' accounts. We recommend changing your password frequently.

9) Disclaimer

a) If any term or condition is breached, the service will be cancelled automatically. We reserve the right to remove any account without prior notification or a refund of payments made.

b) The customer agrees to comply with every clause in this document.

c) 1000sites.pt has the right to amend any or all conditions without notification.
