katavento.pt

The site was slow and sometimes had performance fluctuations.

What was done?

An optimization focused on the images and on the change of the server was made.

Website Speed

Navigation on the page started to be faster from almost 8 seconds to 1.3 seconds.

The page was on a slow server that once had some users drastically reduced access to the files. There are pages limited to 1 mb/s of transfer speed while an NVME disk allows speeds of 2000 mb/sec.

Before, it would have heights that could take 1 minute to carry or not to carry at all. In the image of the medium, images had already been optimized but it was still in the old server.

In this page will be made a follow-up of what needs to be changed.
